This website contains part of a
40 year collection of old, early, and beautiful, British,
Australian, and other watercolours, oils, drawings, etchings
etc. All of which are lovely, REAL pictures
[not mechanical reproductions, as are found in many "artshops"
and "galleries" worldwide] and, unlike much of
today's "modern art" will NOT be here today
and gone tomorrow, or "go out of fashion".
They will have a "wall-life" of, maybe hundreds of years.
They are priced very, very,
reasonably considering their age and uniqueness, and are a
great starting point for building up your own magnificent collection.
I have searched the internet
over recent years and have not yet come across such a
beautiful and diverse collection as this. One finds the
occasional old painting here and there, and now and again a
small group of up to, perhaps, a dozen or so. But, never a concentration like
this - and all different - with different subjects, and by
different artists.
As they have not been painted
by extremely "famous" artists they have a lot of
'increasing in value' ahead of them, besides giving you
hours of pleasure simply looking at them on your walls.
